PAT ROBITAILLE "He's a songwriter at heart but his spin on cover songs is so unique you'd think they're his own. From Soundgarden to Pink Floyd, Mariah Carey to Daniel Caesar."   Robitaille was a founder of the critically acclaimed rock/ soul/R&B trio The Walkervilles (the name is a nod to Hiram Walker, the founder of CC Whiskey in his hometown of Windsor, Ontario). They were invited to join Tedeschi Trucks Band for a cross-Canada tour which saw them on stage at Massey Hall & many of the country's legendary theatres after releasing their first LP. The Toronto based singer/songwriter's career began as an early teen songwriting and recording albums at home; the likes of which found their way to hit producer Ben Grosse (Ben Folds, Vertical Horizon, Red Hot Chili Peppers). He soon landed in Los Angeles with a major production deal to record an album, also spending time in Nashville writing & touring with the critically acclaimed Muzik Mafia (Gretchen Wilson, Big & Rich).   $15 adv. / $18 @ door Online Tickets

The ARROGANT WORMS

The Arrogant Worms began as a comedy troupe performing songs and sketches on campus radio in the fall of 1991. The songs were written to make fun of a big dumb world. Luckily, the world is still dumb and The Arrogant Worms (Mike McCormick, Chris Patterson and Trevor Strong) still have plenty to sing about. The shows are fast, furious and family friendly. The wit is quick, the satire is biting and the musicianship is second to none.  LOTS MORE ABOUT THEM

ESSIG TAYLOR GIFFORD MIRON  are reuniting for a special intimate show. The last show at The LMC in February 2017 was a real blast and we know that this night will be no different. Featuring songs from our self titled album and some new surprises, this will be a very intimate show limited to 45 tickets in LMC's front room where we held our CD release event.  " A collection of 4 musicians brought together by serendipity and musical goodwill... a chance for Ian Gifford and David Essig to fulfill a promise of producing an album together. A random comment on social media in late October 2014 planted the seed and in the spring of 2015 Ian and David revisited the idea while booking summer festivals in Ontario and a potential new band was born."

DAVID FRANCEY   "Francey's clear, simple songs speak volumes to his followers... known as one of Canada's finest tunesmiths and a champion of the Everyman, admired for his less-is-more approach to writing. It's amazing how he manages to address deep stuff with such spare ingredients" The Edmonton Journal.    David Francey is a Scottish-born Canadian carpenter-turned-songwriter, who has become known as "one of Canada's most revered folk poets and singers" (Toronto Star).  A truly authentic folk singer, Francey is a documentarian of the working person who never imagined earning a living from his music. But when he was in his 40s, his wife, artist Beth Girdler, encouraged him to share his songs and sing in public. The reaction was instant. His first album Torn Screen Door came out in 1999 and was a hit in Canada. Since then, he has released eleven albums, won three Juno Awards and has had his songs covered by such artists as The Del McCoury Band, The Rankin Family, James Keelaghan and Tracy Grammer.
