SCOTT HOLT

Presented by KARMA, LMC, Turner Drugs & Big Rock Brewery & Jack Richardson London Music Awards.

Singer/Guitarist/Entertainer/Songwriter Scott Holt has been carrying the Blues torch for his entire career. Born and raised primarily in Tennessee, he and his family also made homes in Texas and Mississippi. The lanky, tattooed Tennessean was "touring before I knew it was called touring! My family moved a lot when I was little so I've lived all over the place." After beginning his musical journey at 19 years old, Holt jumped on the fast-track by joining his friend and mentor Buddy Guy in 1989.

In addition to his tenure with Buddy Guy, which included recording the GRAMMY winning record Slippin' In, 2 appearances on Austin City Limits, an appearance in the major motion picture THINGS TO DO IN DENVER, Holt's 7 solo records have established him not only as a six-string virtuoso but also as a penetrating and soulful storyteller.

JOE CROOKSTON

From Ithaca, NY... Songwriter, guitarist, painter, fiddler, slide player, eco-village member and believer in all things possible. Named 2016 Folk Alliance International Artist-in- Residence and signed to I Book Shows along with David Francey and Irish Mythen. His songs are being made into films. He'll surprise you and awaken the cynics. He's plumbing for lyrical gold like a social archeologist. His songs are universal, his rhythm infectious and in concert, he is funny as hell one moment and transcendent the next.

HE BELIEVES IN STORIES... Come to a show. Mystical, historical, and humorous roads. Lyrical cinematography. Short 4:00 films. Visual, artful and human. Brooklyn in July, Oklahoma towns, rattlesnake tails, turbary thieves, Galway heather, meter maids and drunk roosters. At the end of the night, you'll leave inspired.  MORE

CORIN RAYMOND & Band CD Release Show wsg Broomsticks & Hammers "Two and a half years in the anticipation, Dirty Mansions is beyond anything Corin Raymond has previously set out to achieve. At ten songs produced by Winnipeg's Scott Nolan, accompanied by 240 pages of chords, lyrics, stories, and art, this CD-release celebrates a project that's like Paper Nickels, Bookworm, and Raymond's JUNO-nominated Hobo Jungle Fever Dreams rolled into one. As well as being his finest song collection to date, Dirty Mansions is Raymond's first book launch! We hope you'll join Raymond --- along with guitarist Mike T. Kerr, upright bassist Joe Phillips, keyboardist Treasa Levasseur, and Winnipeg's Joanna Miller on drums --- for this celebration that delves deeper into Raymond's literary-musical hybrid world than we've gone before. ANTHONY GOMES BAND

Presented by KARMA, LMC, Turner Drugs & Big Rock Brewery & Jack Richardson London Music Awards.

Gomes authentic voice and the formidable guitar chops place him in the forefront of modern blues." -  Blues Music Magazine
Anthony Gomes, #1 Billboard Blues Artist, is a triple threat force as a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. This, along with his high-energy shows and dynamic stage presence, make him one of the top draws on the Rock/Blues circuit today.

"He has performed with the likes of B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Plant, Heart, Sammy Hagar, .38 Special, Jonny Lang, Robert Cray and Kenny Wayne Shepherd. Gomes recalled a conversation he had years ago with one of those legends. "B.B. King told me the Blues are like the laws of the land. They need to be amended to the times we live in," Gomes said. "As an artist, it's very exciting to think that the Blues can be just as ground-breaking today as it ever was."
